My Love For You!! I Feel It Every Day!!

I wake in the morning holding tight to what my heart tells me is you, but upon opening my eyes I find only a pillow clutched to me. The scent of you clings to the sheets bringing back memories of an unbelievable night spent in you arms. The power of you overwhelms me bringing a tear to my eyes as I come fully awake and realize you are gone. Leaving quietly so as not to wake me. This hold; this glorious hold you have over me, takes my breath away. Leaves me gasping for more; wanting to breath the same air as you and capturing me in a mystical spell I do not seek to escape.

The power of this woman; weaving a fabric of warmth and love around my heart. Protecting and guiding me through my journey of desire, love and excitement. Giving yourself freely to me in every way a woman can give herself to another.

This is what I wake to each morning. This is what I carry with me each day. This is what sustains me when I am being pulled down and what lifts me to heights I did not know were possible. This is what loving you means to me. This is what I have always looked for in my life's journey. This, in our short time together, is what you give me. No love can be any stronger. No desire can be any more heart felt. And no one will ever love me the way you do.

Nights Dance To Day~~~Chapter 11

Chapter 11

Both guards remained on the ground almost 15 minutes after Pete and Wailer pulled out in the van. Form my vantage point across the street I could see them stagger to their feet and sit on one of the benches. They were talking frantically and searching form their weapons and cell phones. Finally realizing that the phones were missing; one of them moved toward a nearby bus stop and the pay phone next to it.

After another 30 minutes an SUV pulled into the parking lot and they climbed in. They worked their way down to I-495 and then onto I-278; following the Gowanus Expressway to the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge heading over to Staten Island. This surprised me as I thought they would be headquartered in NYC. The good thing was  that on these highways following was easy.

I was further surprised when they crossed Staten island and took the Goethals Bridge into New Jersey. They jumped on the New Jersey Turnpike and headed south; getting off at Exit 12, the city of Carteret. Their finally destination was an unassuming house at 17 Dunster Street .

The house looked like all the others on the street. I wondered if any of the locals knew what kind of operation was being run out of it. When Pete and I worked personal security; our headquarters was much like this one. Surveillance here would be hard. I decided a drive by of the house, for a quick look, was all I could chance.

After getting a quick look at the house; I drove back toward the turnpike and parked at a shopping center so I could call Pete.

“Is he awake yet?”

Pete, “Awake but not talking. Says he will only talk to you.”

I filled Pete in on what I had been doing and the house I had found. I asked him to use his contacts to get all the information he could on that house and its owners. I also told him to send Wailer out on the streets and see if anyone was talking about Martin being taken. It was important that we knew who was interested and who was worried that Martin had disappeared.

“ And Pete, tell Wailer to bring in a food supply. We are going to be in that warehouse for awhile.”

Pete, “Any idea how long?”

“Until I am sure that I know everything that Martin has to tell us. After that we can decide what to do with him.”

PS.......When writing it is important to describe areas, that the story is taking part in as closely as possible. A visit to the area , taking pictures, is the best method. But lacking that exercise; using an area that you are familiar with works just as well. This is what I have done here. I lived in Carteret, NJ through my teen years. And you guessed it; at 17 Dunster Street. The Goethals Bridge was my gateway to drinking as the drinking age in New York was 18 and in New Jersey it was 21. I have made many trips across that bridge; both sober and drunk. And I am still alive to write about it. AMAZING!!

You may have also noticed that the book title is floating between 'Nights Dance Into Day" and Nights Dance To Day'. I just can not decide which I like better. Which do you prefer?

The Day The Pixels Became Giants!!

Do you hear that? It’s the swift, rolling paces and reverberating collisions of one of America’s most notorious and beloved sports racing into a city near you. Roller derby is back, en masse! Scores of American women are leading double lives. By day, they are librarians, financial analysts, bartenders, teachers, and even mothers; by night, their athletic alter egos assume authority with monikers such as Helen Wheels, Dirty Britches, Anna Mosity, and Assaultin’ Pepa. They lace up their skates, slide into racy racing uniforms, and adorn a full set of protective gear for a night of down-and-dirty derby. ~~~Roller Derby, The History and All-Girl Revival of the Greatest Sport on Wheels, written by Catherine Mabe

My grandmother loved this game. In the New York City area; there was a time when it was televised and she would be in front of the TV watching every bout.  The TV was grandmothers domain when it came to Roller Derby and Wrestling; and God forbid anyone that got in her way, lol. I will feel her smile on Sunday when I put on skates and join my sisters on the track for an exhibition match.  It might be a virtual match but if it is Roller Derby; I know my grandmother is watching.

                                                 My team is Poison Ivy.

Just like those women on the First Life tracks; we have taken on new names to assume our alter egos. I am know as Italiano Martelo #77(Italian Hammer). This was my fathers handle when he was in the military.

During the match look for  CAM THIS # CAM1 , she skates as a Jammer(the point scorer) and is fast as a $2 whore with a high dollar quota. Elizabitch Taylor #40, ROFLCAT  #44 and  Angel Bombshell  #34 will be showing no mercy to the oppossing Jammers.  Popa Boozes  # 08, The Torch  #84, Starr Spanksharder  #411 and Soulstar Fireball #1011 will be singing their way out of trouble. And for sheer cuteness, speed, versatility, style and deceptive size;  Sloopy HangOn #64 will dazzle the crowd.

These women are fun to be around and it took just seconds to become friends. I do not know how many games we will win but I can guarantee we are going to look good doing it. Ten beautiful women on skates kicking the crap out of each other. I can see Second Life men lining up at the gates early to get a good seat.

This is a picture  from an exhibition match. Yeppers that's me, lol. About to get my ass kicked .

There is a penalty box for the bad girls. I understand they are serving snacks in there so I do not get hungry during play, lol.

The matches take about an hour to play and are fast, exciting and fun.  I guarantee it will be an hour well spent.

On My Soap Box Again!! Do Not Run Yet!!

Please read through this before you decide that I have lost my mind. I will get to my point eventually. I will; I promise!! Before I start; a statement of my involvement  with the restaurant industry. I no longer hold any interest in any company that owns or operates restaurants. This is not a defense of the restaurant industry; although if you do not read the entire piece you may well think it is a defense.

I believe that every business has a right to exist as long as it is a legal entity. I believe that the goal of every corporation is the is to maximize profits for its shareholders. That is the course of Free Enterprise and I fully support it. Capitalism, given that it has many faults and is taken advantage of by the less than scrupulous, is the best way to have a growing and thriving economy.

McDonald's is no different. But all over the world it is held up as a symbol of what is wrong with the United States or our way of life. It is bashed by many as a symbol of the global take over by Corporate America. Even here in the USA it is attacked as being solely responsible for obesity.

This is the image many activists want you all to picture when you think of McDonald's; or, in reality, any Fast Food Restaurant. Some cities, San Francisco being the most prominent, have even banned Happy Meal Toys because they have determined that the toys attract children to eat unhealthy foods. The motives are many for this behavior. I personally believe that there will always be a segment of society that wants to tear down other peoples accomplishments because they can not deal with their own failures.

Lets get you Imagination Hats on and follow along with this train of thought. Here I am at McDonalds. Imagine me a child of lets say 8 years old. I drive myself to McDonalds for lunch everyday; leaving school without permission. I come into the restaurant and the very first place I go is to the stand advertising the toys that are available to me. Then I rush to the counter to order. I pull out a $10 bill; that I just received when I cashed my paycheck at the bank on my way here. I order a Happy Meal so I get that wonderful toy. A yummy cheeseburger, fries and a coke. Now that TEENAGE girl, who is taking my order, tells me about the healthy substitutes that are available; apples, milk or maybe a parfait. But I am a kid. My choices are my purgative. I take my meal; rush to a table and rip open my toy. I am happy, getting fat and my own person. Then I jump back into my car and drive back to school. Sneak in through the gym while no one is looking and head to class.

An absurd story is it not.  But this is the image that Fast Food opponents are asking you to believe. It is the picture that they want to pop into your head each time you drive past McDonalds or Wendys. It is also a picture that lacks two things that we all seem to toss aside when listening to these people talk.

First, and most important, is the lack of Parental Guidance and Responsibility that is displayed in my absurd story and in the stories of those that vilify these restaurants. Because of the Governmental Idea of We Will Take Care Of All Your Problems; we have ceded our Personal Responsibility. Sadly this attitude has permeated every aspect of our lives.

Secondly; we have stopped applying the Rule Of Common Sense to the arguments laid before us. We see a statement about some facet of our lives and we fall in line like sheep; believing these statements, without checking the facts, because some reputable sounding organization has uttered them.

I believe that our Personal Responsibility and our application of Common Sense; are keys to attaining a meaningful life. Letting others make decisions for you or letting them set the path that your life will take is an abomination to this existence that God has gifted to us. Will you make mistakes? Of course you will. Making mistakes is part of what makes you a higher functioning being.

RELATED STORY

OK! What started my ranting today. For one thing; I believe what I have written.  But what really got me going is the way many fast food restaurant employees are treated. This problem, I believe, is pandemic to the restaurant world. But is especially rampart in fast food restaurants.

Look back to my story about the visit to McDonalds and note that I have hiligthed the word TEENAGE.  I did that because they are the ones that have their futures still ahead of them. But in reality this problem is true for many fast food employees.

When a system of compensation, is set up, that rewards those in charge for the work performed by those they manage, without reward for the hard work of those being managed; an atmosphere of abuse is more than possible. When managers bonus pay is based entirely on the bottom line; holding down the salaries of the workers or limiting their work hours will be a desired result for those managers.

My point here, to the Teenage worker just starting out, is that working in fast food is a starting point not an end point. Unless you have the desire and the ambition to become a manager; the goals of working for any fast food restaurant, or any employer at this age, is to gain some work place knowledge and experience. It is a way to start to lay a foundation of Personal Responsibility in you life. A way to learn to use Common Sense to assist in building your future.

I have now stepped off my soap box.

Love ya,
Night

PS......No politicians, restaurant managers or restaurant owners were educated by this blog today because frankly they do not give a rats ass. Hopefully a future citizen has seen a little light and maybe grasped a little knowledge.

A Vow! Is A Vow! Is A Vow! Or Is It!!

I completely understand Second Life weddings. Having a wedding, a beautiful wedding, is most girls dream. Second Life allows  us to have that wedding if we choose. I especially understand the desire for a wedding in the Gay Community; because so many are blocked from having one in their First Lives.

For my Thinkie and myself, a simple ceremony in  a remote park was perfect for us. Nothing  fancy or elaborate; just the two of us making a promise that has lasted for 35 months as of today. Neither of us would have had it any other way. Besides; I look crappy in white and believe me, at least in my case, totally inappropriate, .

I have attended many Second Life weddings and have enjoyed all but one. My friends and I were ejected  and banned from that one so I really never had the chance to enjoy it. The ejection was done in such a way that it never disturbed the people getting married and in reality it was some two weeks before anyone told them. We had a nice laugh about it. I had done nothing more than try and protect the brides from a homophobe. One of my finer Second Life moments, lol.

Weddings in Second Life run the spectrum  from simple one on one ceremonies to full blown formal affairs. All have their own charm and value. But what is different in each wedding, that I have attended, are the vows exchanged between partners. Evey time I hear of a partnership  breaking up, and there are many, my first thought is to the vows I head  them utter.

I found this wedding vow in an SL profile last week. Personally I have never heard this one used but point in fact; it is so appropriate for Second Life. After all; some SL partnerships have lasted all of 15 minutes and some seem to have a new partner on a weekly basis. I have changed the names here in the quest for anonymity. If my made up names come close to anyone's; believe me it is purely by accident.

I, SweerBottom Louise, take you, Peter Piper Picked His Pickle, to be my  l̶a̶w̶f̶u̶l̶l̶y̶ virtually wedded husband, my f̶a̶i̶t̶h̶f̶u̶l̶ partner and my love f̶r̶o̶m̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶d̶a̶y̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶w̶a̶r̶d̶ for three, maybe four months tops. In the presence of G̶o̶d̶ Phillip Linden, o̶u̶r̶ ̶f̶a̶m̶i̶l̶y̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶f̶r̶i̶e̶n̶d̶s̶ whoever could log in, I offer you my solemn vow to be your partner in sickness and in health, in good times a̶n̶d̶ ̶i̶n̶ ̶b̶a̶d unless you're off line for more than 48 hours, and in joy as well as i̶n̶ ̶s̶o̶r̶r̶o̶w̶ nope just joy. I promise to love you u̶n̶c̶o̶n̶d̶i̶t̶i̶o̶n̶a̶l̶l̶y̶ when my RL hubby isn't home, a̶s̶ ̶l̶o̶n̶g̶ ̶a̶s̶ ̶w̶e̶ ̶b̶o̶t̶h̶ ̶s̶h̶a̶l̶l̶ ̶l̶i̶v̶e̶ until I find out that you've partnered with five other alts.

There is actually a high level of honesty written into this even though, I am sure, it was written to be funny. Her vows tell the tale of many Second Life partnerships. Take heart my friends! All is not bleak in the Partnership Community. Proven by Thinkie and myself and friends of mine , like Auburn Heron and her partner Nikitamaria Shilova who are around 4 years together. Or Adriane Munro-Lundquist and her partner Aida Munro-Lundquist who are also approaching 4 years. I have even met a couple that have been together over 5 years. Like I always say; 'Anything is possible in Second Life". All you need is a desire to see it so.

A bit of advice to all Second Life couples.  A WELL SATISFIED PARTNER IS A LONG TERM  PARTNER.  Satisfaction can be intelectual or sexual but a happy partnership depends on it.

The Things That Come Of My Mouth!! Oh My!!

Thinkie and I were dancing, at the Red River Ballroom, on a particularly quiet Sunday night. Being Second Life partners for nearly 35 months has produced conversations that range from the extremely serious to the absolutely absurd and everything in between.

So on this night when I was being bothered, in instant message, by a person who was quite annoying; my anger had built to a very high ebb. What we were arguing about was so insignificant it defies even a mention here. But I do love a good argument so I let it go on for awhile. The difficulty was in continuing to have a civil, loving conversation with my partner and fending off this cretin in instant message.

Anyway; some time during the evening, and I will admit to you that I have no idea what brought this on, I said to Thinkie "the vagina is a thing of beauty that should be adored and cherished, it should be adorned with fine oils and perfumes,, given vigorous exercise on a regular basis and worshipped by anyone that is vagina challenged".

Those who know me probably know that this is not that far out there for me, lol. But it did get me thinking about the vagina and its powers in this world.

Lets start with nomenclature. This most vital organ has been called by many names. A little research brought me to the website http://www.bedpan.ca/parts.php?which=3; which actually had a list of hundreds of names given this delicate flower. And as an added bonus; the site has been having a contest to pick the most popular name among its readers. The Internet; a place of wonder, lol.

The top 5 names, in reverse order, were; 5. Cunt, 4. Panty Hamster, 3. Bulging Lunchbox, 2. Cock Cavern and the winner coming in at #1 with 194 votes was Moot. Your right; I do not get it either. Names I liked better were; Verticle Smile, Poonnani, The Bat Cave, Quim, Hooha and Aunt Hilda's Hidey Hole. I came to the conclusion that most of these names were probably coined by men who have the sensitivity of a sledge hammer.

The Vagina Flower in full bloom!!! No!! Really!! That's what it's called!!

I see the Vagina as a flower that blooms when nurtured and offers the viewer a site that can be so pure, yet so powerful, all in the same instant. I believe, being the lucky owner of a Vagina, that possessing one is a sacred trust not to be taken lightly. If entrusted with one; you must protect its powers and use them for only good.

Why has there never been a Vagina Woman Super Hero. I would love to be a writer on that show. Vagina Woman Super Hero meets Cock Man in a battle to the death. Vagina Woman Super Hero, using her powers of STAMINA, beats Cock Man until he shrivels and is forced to retreat limp and useless. And the Academy Award goes to~~~YEAH!! ME!! Sorry; my fantasies do run amok.

"If your yoni could talk, what would it say? Would it complain about the treatment it's received? Would it sing a Bollywood song? Would it laugh, or weep, or shout with joy?", is the opening paragraph of an article written by Vandana Makkar. It is an interesting read. If interested you can read the entire article at http://www.samarmagazine.org/archive/article.php?id=157.

Remember; the Vagina Challenged will always try to take advantage of any weakness in your flowers armour. So my advice to you is to keep it strong. Moisten it daily. Massage it to keep it limber. Groom it so that it can be prepared for every performance even on short notice. Find a partner that will worship it and exercise it will due diligence. And PLEASE, PLEASE, never let it out in public unless you plan on using it for the good of all around you.

Nights Dance Ino Day~~~Chapter 10

Chapter 10

Sunset Park was bordered by Main Street on the south, Shore Road on the east and Manhasset Bay to the north and west. There were parking areas on the south side. This is where Johnny Martin and his crew parked each morning. They stayed close to the parking area while Martin made his phone calls. The guards never more than 20 feet away.

There were business’ close by; an Ace hardware, an H&R Block Office and a Rite Aid Pharmacy but only the pharmacy would be open at 6am. There were also some bus stops nearby and they would be busy with people heading to work. The faster we moved the less anyone would see.

We positioned Wailer in the parking lot of the Harbor Delicatessen; across from the parks parking area. He would have a clear view of Martin and his crew from there. He was in position by 5am. Any earlier and he might start to look suspicious to any local police that were patrolling the area.

On Sunday; Pete had bought us older, dirty looking clothes so we could blend in with the parks homeless residents. When we arrived at 4am just about every park bench had someone sleeping on it. We knew that Martin used the same area of the park everyday to make his phone calls. He had not strayed from his routine at all during our surveillance. We were counting on him to keep that routine.

A couple of bottles of cheap wine secured us a place on the benches that were closest to where Martin would be. The benches residents went happily off to another part of the park with there wine prizes and did not ask any question. We were all in position. Now the awaiting began. Always the toughest part of any operation.

Martin arrived right on cue. Wailer signaled there arrival at the coffee shop with a flash of his head lights. Our bodies moved into high alert. I felt every muscle tighten as Martins car approached. I could see no one close to us. There was a good chance we would not be seen.

As per his routine; Martins car pulled up to within 40 feet of us. Both bodyguards got out of the car and surveyed the area. From their view only the parks usual residents were visible; sleeping under as assortment of old blankets and newspapers. Once they had there look around they signaled Martin out of the car. He headed straight toward the benches; pulling his phone out as he walked. The guards, 10 feet ahead of him, made straight for what they thought were two drunks sleeping off a hard night.

We had decided that putting the guards down was necessary for our success but killing them was not. Both Pete and I had worked personal security and knew that beyond knowing who you were protecting; any other knowledge of their business was not necessary. We had chosen to use taser guns; using a them as direct contact stun devices. It was necessary for us to be in close contact with the guards just in case something went wrong and we needed to control them in some other way. We had to prevent them from any use of their weapons.

Pete was closest to where Martin was headed. As we felt the guards shake our shoulders; both tasers hit their marks quickly. The guards went down in a heap; their muscles in spasms with the jolt of electricity. Martin turned to run back to the car but Pete had a gun on him before he could move 5 feet.

As soon as Wailer saw Martins car pulling to a stop he headed the van into the parks parking lot. He was pulling up as Pete was pushing Martin toward the approaching van. I gathered the guards weapons and cell phones and headed toward Pete. By the time I got to the van Pete had a mask over Martins face forcing him to breath in Halothane gas, an anesthetic. Pete’s experience with the use of knock out drugs had been legend in our unit back in the day. Wailer had finished shackling Martin in the back of the van.

We were all in for a very long day but all had gone according to plan. The operation was clean.

Martin belonged to us now!
