Have You Laughed Today?

Humor is infectious. The sound of roaring laughter is far more contagious than any cough, sniffle, or sneeze. When laughter is shared, it binds people together and increases happiness and intimacy. In addition to the domino effect of joy and amusement, laughter also triggers healthy physical changes in the body. Humor and laughter strengthen your immune system, boost your energy, diminish pain, and protect you from the damaging effects of stress. Best of all, this priceless medicine is fun, free, and easy to use.~~From the article 'Laughter is the best medicine'

I have always known that laughter was a powerful tool in our lives. Actually I make it part of my everyday morning routine. My favorite source, for early morning laughter, is watching 'The Colbert Report' on Hulu. I can guarantee it is 20 minutes well spent and tends to heighten my moods. Often, when my girl friend spends the night, she wakes to me laughing in front of the computer. At first, I believe she thought I was nuts and must have started looking for my back door; but in time she was sitting next to me laughing. I love finding common ground with  a good laugh and sharing that laugh with someone I love.

Two quotes, about laughter I find particularly amusing and true are:

“Laughter is the shock absorber that eases the blows of life”~~Unknown

“Laughter and orgasm are great bedfellows”~~John Callahan

Think back! Have you ever laughed while making love? Has something struck you as so funny or off the wall, during love making, that you just had to laugh out loud? Did your partner laugh with you? I can answer YES to everyone of those questions and I will admit that the love making was amazing after the laughing stopped. It is like all the barriers fell down and we could give freely to each other without reservation.

Damn now I am excited, lol.

It has been mentioned that lately I have been a little to serious. In retrospect I find this to be true. Some times our paths get a little thorny and we let those thorns determine were we step. So kiddies I have decided to plow through the thorns and not worry about the nicks and cuts I get while doing so. I checked my medicine cabinet and I have plenty of neosporin so plod on I will.

Some things to make you smile!!

Now that a smile is covering your face; try and keep it there all day. I know that you will feel good. Y'all make me laugh every day in one way or another. THANK YOU!!!

Love ya,
Night
